Somali minister seized in Uganda
Somalia's junior minister for defence has been kidnapped during a visit to the Ugandan capital, Kampala, Somali officials have said.
Sheikh Yusuf Mohamed Siad, a former warlord also known as Inda'ade, was seized by gunmen as he left a mosque in the city on Tuesday, they added.
The Islamist once served as head of security for the Islamic Courts Union.
Uganda provides about half the peacekeeping troops for the African Union Mission to Somalia (Amisom).
